Try throwing on the wheel in a one-time class or sign up for a full 6-weeks, we have a class that suits your creative needs!
If you have never worked with clay and want to give it a spin, this is the perfect class for you. In this class, we will cover basic studio safety, how to weigh and wedge clay, and the steps for creating your first piece on the wheel. Sign up with your friends for even more fun!
In this 2.5 hour course, you will be guided through all the steps to create your own piece on the pottery wheel. After an instructor-led demo, you’ll have plenty of time to practice and try on your own. Trimming and glazing requires the clay to be at a different stage so this class will concentrate on throwing. Clay and tools will be provided, just bring your enthusiasm… and maybe a towel.
This class is perfect for those that are ready to experience the entire ceramic process, or a beginner that just needs a refresher. We offer wheel throwing and hand building classes. Wheel throwing classes will be offered at different levels, advancing to more complex forms and bigger pieces. Hand building classes will focus on different techniques or special projects.
Private lessons gives you or your small group a chance to work with one of our instructors with their undivided attention. Work on topics of your choosing with your preferred instructor.
