Exhibition Guidelines

The Gallery has final authority over the review, selection and arrangement of all exhibits.  Exhibition proposals will be evaluated based on the exhibition content, quality of work and suitability for our space. We value local artists whose works bring a sense of community engagement and education. We reserve the right to determine the suitability of proposed exhibitions to be included in the gallery. We discourage proposals containing images that include significant elements of explicit content. The gallery may not be used for political purposes, solicitation of business. The gallery does not engage in the sale of any artwork displayed in the exhibition nor does the gallery take a commission. All sales are to be arranged with the artist individually. The Gallery does not advocate or endorse the view points of exhibitions or exhibitors. Preparation of materials for exhibition purposes is the responsibility of the exhibitor and must meet the standards of the Gallery.

Exhibitor is responsible for the installation and de-installation of their exhibit and must return the gallery in the original condition that it was received. The exhibitor is responsible for the insurance of the pieces in the exhibit. The Gallery shall not be held liable for any damage or theft of artwork while the artwork is on display.

The gallery is open to the public during regular building hours and free to the public.

Hanging & Display Requirements

The Gallery reserves the right to reject any work that is poorly presented and does not meet installation requirements.  Artwork to be accepted must follow established guidelines. Only original works may be submitted.

All Works

  • Artist’s name, e-mail, phone number,  title of work and price (or NFS) must be written on back of work.
  • Artwork may not be removed until close of exhibit.
  • Artwork must be picked up by the specified date after the show closes.
  • Artwork left over 15 working days will be considered the property of the gallery.

Two-dimensional Work

  • Gallery wrapped.
  • If framed, frames must be free clean with no chips.
  • Glass or plexiglass is acceptable.
  • All surfaces must be dry.
  • Ready to hang. Securely fastened with picture wire with wire taped so no sharp wire is exposed.

Three-dimensional Work

  • Artwork must be able to fit on our existing furniture  or artist must provide own pedestal.
  • Exhibitor is responsible for placement of artwork at the approved location.
